I've discovered that the maintenance break was for letting you register names that were normally Bobba'd. Like words with ' nig ' in it.

Not all, just some. Obviously because MOD-_______ could be used to imposter mods and create numerous scams.

Yes, they allowed too many names to be registered causing me and one of my friends to be mass perm banned. ;[
