    Default The new google?

Ok so maybe nothing will get as big as google maybe. But a great new search engine is out and great things are in store, take a look at this article i found.

    The Next Google has Arrived
Posted by The Newmanium on December 31st 2005 to Technology

We all remember how Google took all competitors by storm when they introduced their spider-run index. With Google introducing vertically-related features almost weekly to retain their falling market share, we can’t help but wonder what will be the next “big thing” in the search engine world.

The search engine in question, which is currently in beta stages, is PreviewSeek. This company boasts artificial intelligences algorithms organize results in a more logical way. Instead of placing the site with the higher PageRank as the number one result, PreviewSeek categorizes them.

For instance, if you search for “tax”, the search engine will give you the following categories: forms, income, department of taxation, relief, etc…

Another major feature this search engine boasts is an MP3 search. This feature most likely designed to find the 30 second trial clips on music sales sites, but if you look - you’ll find plenty of full songs

I feel that PreviewSeek will be the next big thing search-wise.

Try it out, when you search it shows you a picture of the site before you go on it, it is a nifty site although its in beta stages.

Lol Its a good find but theres not much of a point trying to catch up with a giant like google. I mean they have expanded into every possible branch they could think of that is available to them and they have done it at will. Google instant messenger is even coming out soon to stand with their email service and they are already hailing that as something to make Msn look embarassed.

Apparently the guy that invented google asked for no money when he sold it. He could have made loads of money.

I thought it was two guys :s When they were in college, they bought all these cheap file servers and kept them in their dorm rooms.
