Question [HELP?] Two text boxes right next to each other?

Okay, I'm making a profile on a website and I want to make 4 text boxes, and I want them like this:

But, whenever I try to put two of them together right next to each other..

    <div style="border: 1px solid black; width:300; height:100;overflow:auto"><div style="border: 1px solid black; width:300; height:100;overflow:auto">

One's on top of the other. The second on automatically goes under the first one.

How do I make it so the second one doesn't go under the first one, like in the picture above?

    Thanks.
    Eric.
