Elves and Reindeer Badges...Existing past Xmas?

With the coming of the newsie; came the winners to the jumbled words competition.

Congratulations to Luke-p, Redish, DBizniss, LauraADORESyou & Ostinato

They each won an ELF BADGE and 50 credits.

Now why, might I ask, would they win an Elf Badge and 50 credits if the promotion was over? The stickies in Reindeer Recruitment say "Badges are only for Xmas" but it seems this might not be the case.

Although a lot of Elves and Reindeer were debaged *mutters angrily* it seems those who remain are going to be able to keep the badge like Habboween, VIP, etc (*mutters angrily, except-if-theres-another-reindeer-incident-where-ALL-the-badges-are-taken*)

I've still got my reindeer badge Mwuhaha and VIP's don't get to keep badge you either get it taken away or it goes away after 30 days because it has room override and you can't be kicked. I had one when I was in Jenova and we were allowed to keep them until the 30 days were up.
