Today at school. Mrs Y turned on her phone to send a text to mate who is ill. Mrs X via bluetooth goes on to her media files and looks at bluetooth name. The bluetooth name is [nickname] [teacher]. She told the teacher about it. And all her friends. The best mate of Mrs y got her phone and she changes the name.

Now that she changed the name does the name on the phone get stored on Mra X's as the name it was in the lesson? Or does it get changed when the Mrs Y changed her name? And can Mrs X still get to Mrs Ys' media files?

Confusing. Lol.

Mrs x cant access your new media files but the ones that were sent she can, Mrs x can see Mrs y's old name i think.

If she searches again, then the old name will be replaced by the new one. Some phones store the last devices they found, others don't.

Ooh, I got a D500. Yes it does, it remembers every other phone/device it has connected with. Unless the owner deletes it. Unfortuantly, the name only updates once it's reconnected.
