The first image of the revolution controller was made by some random individual wanting to start up speculation about what the Revolution's controller might look like for an FPS (First-Person shooter) game. He made the picture before Nintendo had released any information about the controller, which included the controller's ability to sense motion in a 3D space.
Let me simplify it even further
That is not the controller, that will not be the controller, that was never the controller, nor will it be sold in any retails once the console is released.

The other wasn't. It was a mock-up made by a fan. The actual controller may have been attached, but it would be irrelevant because of the way you presented both images and titled the thread.
