    Default Look at this

A lot of people on this forum say "I hate my life" or "My life is crap". Actually, compared to a few countries in Africa, your life is GREAT! You have food, a computer, games and a proper education but some people dont even have that!
You should be happy with what you have instead of complaining.

    Look at these images:

I detest people who use these kinds of images to gain some sort of 'advantage' over people.

People complain about their lives because to them, their lives are bad, and from where they are living they have only had set experiences. Like for instance, they did not grow up in africa.

You use this as to say 'It's out fault, so shut up whining about your life when others suffer'.

Well let me say, others will always suffer (Sad, but true). People can only accomodate what they have been through, I'm sure if say some person who says ' I have a bad life' means it in a way that her 'old' life has changed and it has caused her to be depressed/sad/upset with herself and her life.

I completely agree. Some images that i've seen of these starving people are scenes i never thought i'd see in my life. Its sickening that they are left like that. It really puts my life into perspective when I see people suffering. Some people need to look twice at themselves before thinking they're life is bad.

Don't get me wrong... I don't think it's okay for them to be like that and I know we should help them but It's like people are telling us that there is a penalty for success and that because we're better off through hard work, we have a penalty to pay. (That being said, it doesn't always apply).

I agree with you. Although the images shown above makes you think- How we can afford a ton of stuff when those in Africa are starving.

There's people in the west that will not know what it's like to be starving. In the less-developde areas of Africa, people will not know what it is like to be full.
