According to Yahoo! Games, confirmations are in that the PlayStation 3 will all ship with a 60GB hard drive as a standard. In addition, optional upgrades for higher capacities will be available - although it’s unknown if we could buy an upgraded console, or that we have to buy the upgrade separately.
This is great news for both developers and consumers, as that would mean less problem including HDD-related features in games. But the bad news is, we don’t know how this might affect pricing.
