Knowing another language looks good on your CV when you're applying for a job. May give you more opportunity aswell.

It all depends on your intrests and what you want to do for a living later and where you want to work (what country).
I have "done" 5 years of french now, but I still stink because it's hard, boring and stupid. I can understand most of the thing they say and I can understand most things I read, but I really can't speak or write it, then I have to think too much about those stupid grammar rules. Thank god this is my last year of french.
So it's all up to you really wether french is important or not later in life, but an extra language is always handy.![]()
[CENTER]Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
Ahh, stuff it.
French is ok, my teacher is boring. But in tests we're allowed all our books out. Our french teacher said even in gcse's and A levels we're allowd all our books to look at. bit stupid tho cuz u dont have to learn as much
When thinking about a career, the possession of a basic qualification in a foreign language will be a real asset and give you a much wider choice of jobs, espcially since Britain's linked with Europe and growing so rapidly.
It depends on the job you want.
Are you planning on becoming french in the near future?
It'll look good in your resume, and I take French.
Dunno about you, but you get a lot of respect for knowing more than 2 languages where I live.
