    The original was banned because of the "real" horror.
    I haven't seen the remake yet, but I loved the original.

    I agree with you kind of...Although it depends on who makes the film.
    Obviously, if it's just a basic hollywood remake, just made to make as much money as possible, then it'll probably be doomed before it gets into production.
    I think if you're remaking a film, you have to be very careful, especiall;y if the original was popular/good.
    You know what they say...If it aint broke, don't fix it. and such...

    The first one isnt banned here? It's PG-13.
