Web Designers Project

I'm looking for people to join a project, to be a social blogging site - this is not a particuarly hard thing to do, the main thing I need help with is to make it look nice!

What I want to create is a main page, where people can register, login and view the posted blog articles. People can give their articles "tags", and the articles can be searched for by these.

All articles must be put in one of hundreds of predefined catagories, and then in each catagory, people can give it a "blow", once it reachers 10 blows it will be promoted to the front page.

Is it a bit myspace with the blog business? Will there be like a profile page? If not I'm quite confused ;] Sounds interesting,Lots of bandwidth//space needed

What we need at the moment:

A good CSS layout designer (we don't want tabled layouts)
Someone good at MySQL (to create the database code and to structure it)

I could do the mySQL but i cant at the moment i have loads of work to do
