    Default Cutenews help........

    Ok I Got all the files chmod'd and al that good stuff. its installed. all i need help with is how to get it on my site. on the the cutenews help page it gives you different codes, but i dunno what to do with em. Can anyone help me please? :s

    just put the show news code on your page and save it as a .php document

    have you checked the path to cutenews is coreccet? and make shore theres acatly some news to show?.
    Also make shore you not getinges news only from one catgory wich may not be the one the news is in?

    chmod means changing all your permissions to 777 (all ticked)

    but u need somthing like cpanel to do that

    No CHMOD is the permissions you give a certain file which allows your browser to do certain things to the file such as write data to it, read data from it etc.

    777 is the number for all privelages allowed and you can set this using your ftp client such as smartftp, just right click on the file and click on chmod and change the three numbers to what you have been told to!!
