i have a ds, and of course its great... but i would say the 360, becos if it bores you u can sell it for a ds.. but u can't do it the otherway around - trust me i've tried

Pffft..Xbox360 by far, but depends on what you want it for? they maybe consoles but both suite a different environment. DS is better for taking out whilst traveling, Xbox360 your going to play at home and you'll expect good graphics, better gameplay, more functions and more.

Touch pad its an alien function which isn't all spectacular.

Get a DS then, dude. Thats what I'd do. Online gaming on Animal Crossing and Mario Kart DS is excellent.
