Took my PC about an hour and a half.

Hmmm.... I want to get FFXI, but is it worth it? I'm trying to decide between this and WoW.

And if I do get it, should I buy it on PS2 or PC?

If not, the modem for PS2 in the UK is soon to be released!!!!! =D So you can play it on there if you have to, hehe.

My friend, Matthew has, WoW and he's a Level 48 and he's bored out of his ever loving mind. He told me never to buy WoW. Lol. So I advise FFXI. = )

Yep get FFXI.
That update took a while for me to do as well, tis annoying.
Anyway, the new areas for the expansion are amazing though, so well worth it.
