daily exersize for a while with a decent diet
Exercise small amounts a day and try to cut out some junk food, eat healthy.

Exactly what Lycan said. Make sure you excercise regularly, have a healthy diet, eat only at meal times + dont snack inbetween. If you need to snack eat nuts or fruit thats the healthiest option.

Yeah, it has been said. At least 30-45 minutes exercise a day and a healthy diet. I never ever used to be bothered to exercise everyday, but now I do. Playing music during my exercises really helps me to carry on doing it regularly (plus I get to learn the lyrics wayhay).
The best way to lose body fat is regular exersise on low resistance equipment, or sports.
To lose body fat many personal trainers reccomend joining a gym and 'sprinting' on equipment under low weight resistance (cycling machine on level 1 etc..) for a long bursts of time, this could mean having a high paced job on a treadmill for 10 minutes.
To build muscle you should use heavier equipment/resistance for shorter time or less reps.This allows the muslces to continually develop to higher intensity training.

If you cant be bothered to do that just start small, like doing a few sit ups or push ups before you go to bed. Then once you start getting use to that take it one step further and start going out for jogs etc.
Also never eat late at night and try eating 5 a day for a while and lots of water.
Cut out your entire diet and live on peanuts.

make sure your getting all your fruit
another important factor is making sure you have a decent breakfast!!! Its proven to help keep slim as it gets your metabolism working early on in the day all teh way through until you go to sleep.
