Im not worlds best Layout designer, i admit. I've been off school today and whipped this up.

I personally think you have gone a little over the top with the shadown, tone it down a little bit and you'll be rocking.

Also the content box looks kind of dull.

To basic for my liking, merely a rounded edged box, with some drop shadow, with a few more boxes on the outside for nav and one on inside.

I had to make it for my Grans art club,

They wanted simple, clean, and grey (the art club theme is greyish)

I just followed what they wanted =]
