Rep means nothing they could just have like 26 posts and buy a hell of a lot of rep, and you go first and then you get scammed..

Actually rep can be bought only if your VIP though. :|

And I didn't 'Buy VIP' for the rep, I buy it for the various other features.. and also I've got 30 rep points from VIP (15 for each month) so technically that's not much. :/

Well then you can just make sure they didn't buy Rep by looking at if they're VIP or not...

Yes i know.. but the person could've been VIP before and bought the rep then..

Anyways all I was doing was warning him that someone could have 25 posts and buy like 500 rep points and that the person would be considered "safe" because of the amount of rep. I just said rep doesn't really matter, it's more of the rank (Eg; forum MOD) or someone who has a lot of people to vouch for them.

And now it's come up into an argument :s
