    Default 16 & Married.

My mate is 16 and hes getting married.
Hes known her since he was 12 and she was 13 so hes 1 year younger than her.
Theyre doing well together, not many fights or arguments and they live together. Shes at college and hes got a job as a printer where I work.
They were each others first and they did it 3 years ago.
Theyve been together for 4 years.

    Is this right?

    young marriges can work.

my parents started dating when my mum was 14.
    engaged when she was 16.
    married when she was 18.
    and me at 19 ;]

and they're still together now, and i'm 16, so thats like... 17 years?

Yeah my mum was pretty old. She's even older now (things often turn out that way). I see nothing wrong with young marriages if they truly believe it can work.

To be honest, I think young relationships are silly and can cause alot of problems, maybe thats just because of my past..
At 14 - My mum started dating my real dad.
At 16 - She had me.
At 17 - They broke up and my mum had to handle me on her own in my nans house..
At 19 - She married my step dad.
When I was 11 - I found out my real dad was a drug addict and now I have so many different sides of stories coming at me, all so confusing..
Its really bad to be in my position and young relationships caused it all..

Young love can work, but I think all people, not just young ones, shopuld take more time before doing anything serious like marriage or kids. So yeah, it may work out, and myay be right, but it still may not be. As it is your friend, you can't really do aything about this anyway, because I would have said that 4 years,m especialy as that young, would've been a tiny bit too soon, but people have to make their own desicions (and possibly mistakes) so I'd suggest that you just support your friend and make sure that he knows he's got you as a friend whether it does, or doesn't work ourt.

Well, it seems they have a stable relationship and havn't gotten bored with each other etc. yet so it seems fine, however 16 of course is still young and they have the rest of their lives ahead of them still, but I guess it's their mistake to make!

It's nice their in love but no to the marriage they're way too young. They should wait a few more years because conflicts can start i.e if they go to university etc etc etc.
