    Heya i have a site layout my first one whey!
    does any one know werei can upload it cos its like 1736 kilobites
    and dunt fit on image shack.

    scanlines, i hate readign through scanlines , but apart form that ( and the hcoise of colours) good layout for a first!

    I think the colors are a bit to bright, especailly the blue. Hurts my eyes. Try using more neutral colors.

    You have over used scan lines, they are fine for banner,background, etc but not for content/navigation when they are that noticeable. If i ever use scanlines on a content box/navigation i make them so they can only just visable, that way they don't irritate you when your reading the site.

    Layout is also really huge. 1500x1500 tends to be way to big for a layout. It can bearly fit on my screen, and my resolution is the biggest i can have (1280x1024).
    The purple drop shadow under banner isn't needed tbh, it looks really out of place.

    Over all. Good for a first layout, but in your next ones try to use more neutral colors, and make the layout smaller. I suggest around 700x600, that way it fits on all resolutions.
