    Default maths coursework year 10 investigation called 'Stair numbers'

    K anyone doing the maths cwk investigation called 'Stair numbers' atm
    & if so reply back, and where your up to etc, i need someone to speak to about it lol

    ive found rule for 1, 2 ,3,4,5,6 tier stair shape and found the pattern for
    the N part, G part and adjustment in for example the 3 tier rule: T = 6N + 4g +4

    Done it a few months back
    Higher tier- set 1- teacher says I could get A* in my maths gcse

    i have finished it today and got the overall rule for any grid size on any tier & teacher said it was right, and i shud get A* [hopefully]

    its a ded long stupid forumla lol

    i dont that but that was my pratice one i have the do number grid now where u make asquare and add the other numbers together for example the top left to the bottom right, the bottom left to the top right. etc i dont undertsand it so if anyone can help with that one it would be great

    well whatever shape you have, do bottom right number in the shape 's number' and then call total of the numbers in the shape 't'
    and work out formula for:-

    - any grid size, any tier,

    by using algebra for it, eg/ mine was stair shape

    and i had n / n + 1/n+ 2/ n + g / n + g + 1/ n + 2g

    thats like the basicest part i finished mine now n done 18 pages lol and got final formula thingy to be

    - t = (0.5t[squared] + 0.5t)N + (1/6t[cubed] - 1/6t)g + (1/6[cubed] - 1/6)

    whats the formula for any step stair on any grid size. I know the first half is like

    [1/2n (n+1)]g thats to work out what you times a by but i need to work out what you times g by...
