LITERALLY 15 seconds before the final whilstle... Italy cops a pathetic call at a penatly and walk away 1 nil.
If you watched it... you would agree... Australia DID desereve that.
I ripped my bed sheet when I saw the penatly go...

I don't think they deserved to be leading, but they did however deserve extra time. Shameful dive by the Italian, woeful defending by the Aussies though.

I must admit, Italy played a fantastic game. Their defence in my opinion is the best any team has to offer. If Australia were to lose in extra time I wouldnt be upset... its just that damn penalty.

The guy was silly to dive in when in the penalty box against the italians. It was always going to be a penalty, totti took it well. Australia should have gone for it instead of going for extra time
