Cannons - Good XP?

Can you tell me some info about cannons, ive never had one and ive just spoke to a RS Player and he says its good for XP.

Can you tell me a bit about them please

They cost not so much (500Kish)
They can do pretty good damage (10-20ish)

They are the most powereful range weapon
they cost 550k
they can attack multipal aponents at once
the cannonball s are 200 ea
and they hit up to 30+
they can only fire 30 cballs then you need to reload it
you need to do dwarf cannon quest to use one

Max hit is 30 xP Just thought i would leave that in
and after 400 shots it will decay, so when you get a message your cannon is about to decay or something or it is weak, just pick it up and you get another 400 shots

Sorry i don`t realy know iv never had a cannon well i have but i sold it within 5 minutes i was only trying to be helpful

Pretty much a cannon gives you x2 the amount of XP the damage is dealt. For instance, if you hit a 20, you'll get 40 XP. Pretty much you're paying 200 GP per cannonball that hits ranges from 1-20+, pretty much of a waste to be but then, you don't get HP xp .. so it's an expensive range weapon that requires you to fix it once in a while when it breaks down. Usually used by the wealthy. I hope this helps you. And the information I provided above may not be true, if that is the case, please correct me.

Just use the good old bow and arrows to get range up

Good for training slayer.
Not so good for training range.

They are quiet expensive to run as each ball is 200 each. However the exp from each hit is quiet good.

They are also fast and good in multi areas .
