I wasn't sure where to post this, but I guess it's all about logic and maths (=education). Please write your comments and how hard/easy you thought it was etc., and if you want to figure out this riddle, I suggest doing it before looking at the rest of this thread and reading a spoiler. Also keep any bragging/showing off low-key.
Basicly Albert Einstein wrote this riddle in the early 20th century. He said that 98% of the population would not be able to solve it. Good luck.
I want to know who is in each house, who smokes what cigar, what colour house do they live in, what pet they have, and what beverage do they drink.
In a street these are 5 houses painted 5 different colours. In each house lives a person of a different nationality. The 5 house owners each drink a different beverage, smoke a different brand of cigar and keep a different pet. The question is: Who keeps the fish?
HINTS: (You can figure everything out from these)
- The Brit lives in the red house.
- The Swede has a dog
- The Dane drinks tea
- The green house is on the left of the white house
- The owner of the green house drinks coffee
- The person who smokes Pall Mall has birds.
- The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhills.
- The man living in the center house drinks milk
- The Norwegian lives in the first house
- The man who smokes blends lives next to the one who has cats
- The man who has horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhills
- The man who smokes blue master drinks beer
- The German smokes Prince
- The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
- The man who smokes blends has a neighbour who drinks water.
That’s it. Good luck!:eusa_danc
