Ye but when you get a high pray lvl you need more bones so you wont want to spend alot on bones for burying when you would rather go for a cheaper option of getting pray up plus you got the new gilded altar that you can train pray on aswell.

If you have access to a lot of Big Bones and you have some spare time then you are best using them with the ectofunctus. If you are just talking about normal bones it's not worth the effort.

I got up to the prayer level I needed by killing giants and storing all the bones in the bank until I had a few hundred which I then used at the ectofunctus. It was good fighting experience, I got some good loot and my prayer level got where it needed to be in no time!
