Need help on cutenews

Im using FTP
But dnt know how to setup Cutenews on the site anyone help?

Are you using Core FTP or a programme similiar or literally "ftp://"?

Errr. Never really use/used FTP. I use Core FTP - but try uploading or whatever the term is when using FTP and then unzipping the zip folder once uploaded and then CHMOD everything into 777? (data folder only I believe).

Ok, easy peasy if you still need help:

Make a folder like news
Drag all files from left pane in cutenews directory to that folder
when all uploaded go into the news folder and right click on the data folder choose properties/chmod in the box type 777 then click ok, do this for the files in the directory just to be safe

then go to www.yourdomain.com/news/
and start installing

Hmm. Something like select all in the data folder then right click then click Change Permissions then change it to 777 (click all boxes).

ok so say my hosting folder is htdocs i make the folder callled news inside htdocs?
