Is it that important to eat heathily? I've been lifting for a while now, and I've decided to start working on my abs and pecs, and I'm just wondering, is it so important to watch my calorie intake and go on a diet, or can I just start training?

ryan i am probably the most unhealthiest person you know, but yes a healthy diet will help, i really need to get one :|

it's wortht he bother, alot of protien etc it will help create muscle quicker![]()

i think the only thing you need to watch is your cholesteral number?

lol im not going sas u with medical b.s my whole soccer team eats what we want but were all skinny (not grossly skinny) but ye just do alot of exersice is better like footy soccer hockey any continse sport.

I already play football () occasionally. Anyway, Aquae, as far as I know, cholesterol isn't important unless coupled with fat... Although I'm not TOO sure on that.
hmm im not sure on that either. i just know that if you eat too much salt etc yo uget major heart problems and to me, thats the only important thing about my health.
id also say keeping a blanced diet too

Eat what you like. It'll help your overall fitness if you have a decent diet, but I myself prefer to eat things that taste the best.
