    Can i let you all know that it is not possible to get Counterstrike for FREE. You have to pay to be able to play it.

    The reason for purchasing a legit version is that it ensures full quality of the product. Downloading 'cracked' versions of the game can be harmful, and the game itself doesn't have all the features as it would if you bought it on disc or through steam.
    Why illegally download it anyway? the game is only £15 which isn't hardly a lump sum of money..

    But if you wish to purcahse the latest version titled 'Counter-Strike Source' its £19.99.

    Prices ranger from £15-£20, I bought mine last year and it was £20 but i've seen it in shops for £15. Depends where you buy it from aswell, some charge more or less.
