    He might be a good player but i would never of thought we would of payed that much for him which is supposedly going up to around 8m pounds.

    Brum deffo get the better side of that deal. I reckon they'll bounce straight back up to the prem (I hope ntl isn't reading this :]) with the likes of Cameron Jerome up front, Maik Taylor in goal, Upson in defence and Gray in midfield. They're half decent players who'll be ready to take on the championship

    Birmingham Chairman must be very happy. Got rid of that donkey, Heskey for 5.5m and now pennant for 7m. Not bad business!
