I agree, Its awful, Sorry.
As the person above said, Make the colours "habbo-ey" - You could take a screen shot on habbo, and copy the colours..

a few tips for your 1st alt.
Try doing it to habbo scale and make it isometric. Alts are about items which would look good on habbo hotel.
The colours a a bit garish too. Tone them down, maybe make it look like cardboard.

How exactly did you work out the exact duration? Well, I quess it is alright... Try adding some shading in side the box so it doesn't look like a cube with flaps... 5/10
