    Default James completes Pompy Move

    James completes his move to pompy who just like to buy the England rejects at the moment, this is the first buy this summer Portsmouth have payed a fee for as Glen Johnson is on loan there, Sol Campbell and David Thompson went for free. The southern boys paid £2 million for the 36 year old who started his career at Watford in the second division before a £1 million move to Liverpool spending 7 years at the club. In 1999 James moved to Aston Villa for £1.8 million. After just 2 seasons at the club he spent his next 3 at West Ham United for £3.5 million and then left to Man City in the January transfer window in 2004.
