i usealy start by drwaing roghly what i want, and what i want it to do, then code the basic tables needed for the layout. often with random place holder images, just so i can get the right shape, and then i build on form that.

Athogh apprently quite a few people start with the graphics and build the site around that, while grahics, real one are the last thing i get to.
