Very good for 1st but try make it less dull add more boxes etc. and change colors 8/10 for 1st

Less dull in what ways bud ?
I thought orange was quite bright?
What colours do you suggest as well i tried darker for nav/banner.

Not bad, smaller text on the nav would help.

Just remembered to say has only a few boxes as its not going to be a full of content site..
Big texy on nav was to match the writing above on slogan of banner and bigger banner ;O

Them white/silver scan lines or whatever for the background dont match up there outta place.

All the scanlines are not correct. You should get a 5x5 pixel box of the scanline and use it as the background

and banner/nav
its just the main content i can see i missed a pixel lols.
