Dunno if this has been done before, if it has sorry. But anyway I didn't see it anywhere, so like the title says.

I reccomend the band Halifax, not exactly sure what genre they fall under but kind of a rock, pop punk sorta deal I guess, anyway they're really good so you should give them a listen.

I'll say Clutch for funk/rock/blues/metal, Fratellis for indie, and Wolfmother for classic rock.

And check out some Motorhead other than Ace of Spades, they're horribly underrated.

Also Rodrigo Y Gabriela for flamenco, they're bloody excellent.

I think, as of now, we should post

    1)Band name
    2)Genre
    3)Bands they're similar to
    4)Their most famous/best songs

That will make things more informative. For example,

    1)Clutch
    2)Funk rock blues
    3)Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin
    4)The Mob Goes Wild, 10001110101

    Just a thought.
