    Default picture format censored?

    the format .bmp is filterd for some reason so there fore not allowing me to post my .bmp pictures , i'll save it as .png and post it :rolleyes:

    Because a .bmp is so large and takes up an amazing amount of bandwith to parse.

    I would suggest JPEG or PNG.

    Yes we filtered bmp pictures to prevent people from linking to them in signatures, as this costs huge ammounts of bandwidth and slows down the forum. But since the word filter holds everywhere, it also means you cannot link to bmp pictures in a post.
    As far as I know png has the same (perfect) qualitly as bmp but the file size is much smaller, so then there isn't much need for the bmp format.
