There both really sore and red? How do you tell it's conjuctiveitus.

Conjunctivitius or w.e is gungy and green.

Viral conjuntivitius is where it looks as if there is a cloud everywhere.

Do you wear contacts? if you do, it might be them
Or do you give your eyes a good rest... like after an hour watching tv or computer, go outside your gardens and look at long distance for a while.
Do you touch you eyes with your hands? Might of caused an infection, if is that bad go and see your GP.
Its very unlikely but you could have hayfever still?

if i was you id go to the doctors/chemist and get some antibacterial eyedrops.

Conjunctivitis is not 'gooey crap on your eyes'.

I've had conjunctivitis a couple of times, and it's simply an eye infection. It starts off quite itchy, and rubbing causes it to inflame and slightly swell up, causing a little pain.

You basically, after time, look as though you have a black eye(s), and your eye's often weep. It's easy to treat though, with a simple antibiotic eyedrop or eyecream from the doctors.

Try resting your eyes and getting some eye drops from the chemist.
Often chemists are a quicker way of treating minor aliements than doctors, they should be able to give you advice.
