Work Experience

I like hundreds and thousands of other students this year is going to have Work Experience.

We have to choose 3 work areas, in order of the ones you most want to do first. Only the 1st is the one you will do if they have the spaces left.

I've scaled my choices down to:
1. Computer Work
2. Sport & Leisure
3. Army
4. Motor Trades
5. Animal Work

I really don't know which one to do, I know you get payed an awful lot working on computers (i'd like to be a graphic designer) but it will get boring after a long while of doing it. Sport & Leisure would be good but I don't particulary want to work in the reception or swimming pool all day, army has a very low application rating so it may be hard to enter it, motor trades is what my dad works in and i like anything with wheels and a motor and I also like animals so I really don't know!

Im doing my work experience at the start of October.
For one week im going to a place called Taurus Informatics where im gonna learn how to build PC's, wee.
And for the other week im going some other place for some admin work, should be fun.

I done mine at W H Smith i think youll find the staff their the best, Well i did.

I done mine back in July. Done engineering at United Ultilities fixing pumps and motors and that for both the two weeks, it was fairly good.

Doing mine sometime this year haven't a clue when though :p we get a big booklet with places we can work out not category's actual places.

No, that was option 1 for me. Yet to be confirmed.

I went to my local council catering department... i'd say you couldn't of met better hard working people, they were AMAZING... the nicest people on earth but what makes my blood boil is, they're so under paid... and they're like probably the hardest worked?

my future career of mcdonalds manager was failed -cri you're not allowed to take a work experience course in fast food restraunts i think ma life is now ova!11!!11!1!!!!1111

I'm going to try for some theatre, if not something boring like office work.
