I'm sure there's a lot you can do to improve and whatnot, but I'm not really into the technical side of things with graphics!

As I said, it's my first attempt at an alt, the idea just suddenly popped into my head. Im sure someone could make better than this, I've only erased some lines

done before lot of pixel errors some red is on the gold bit.
okie for first , i guess , but seen better first alts.
Try looknig at tuturals or try recolourings b4 trying something else again.
