Hair dye question.

So, i've dyed my hair black right, and now i want to change the colour, but its pretty much going to be impossible to dye over it and i don't wanna wait for it to grow out as my roots look stupid.

My mate said, that there is something they can do, to take the black out, and then you can dye over it, but my parents said there isn't.

So, is there or isn't there a way to get the black dye out so i can change the colour, without having to grow it out?


Also, i don't care if this belongs somewhere else, i'll get more replies here.

get really light blonde like bleach blonde and dye it with that then you can dye it whatever colour you want.

No you can't dye over it (I had the same problem)

but you can always have it bleached.

You can get your hair stripped. The hairdressers gets some of the dye out to make it lighter.

you could get it dyed bleach blonde then dye it to whichever color you want, but it reaaaally ruins your hair. just keep trying to dye it a lighter color like light brown every 3 months etc, and it starts to come out. its what i did to my hair [i dyed my hair black last year] and its just starting to come out..

I dyed my hair black 2 yrs ago, I can dye over it okay now..
Still a bit dodgy at the end of my hair though:rolleyes:

If its temp, Do like 6/26 washes for it to come off.
