Nokia 6111

I'm thinking of getting the Nokia 6111...does anyone have it and is it any good? I've looked at the reviews and some people say it's awful and others say it's fantastic! So which one is it

Both of my mates have them, in pink.

They are really good, and the quality of it is really good. You can hold lots of songs on it, I always play on theres Thinking of getting on myself.

OH Glory... must be the worst phone i've ever had... Nokia seems to be tagging behind when it comes to actual 'workability' in their phones... and a freaking paid money for it... well it's been 15 working days.. and still no news.... EISH!

I got my eyes on this mobile and to start with the major drawback is that theres no card slot so U are cramped in only 23Mb.The rest of the specs look fine(I want a phone thats better than 6600)but I have concers in terms of reliability so If anyone has this phone pls tell me how is it to live with day by day. Oh and one more question:the soft is defenly Simbian for S60 but what version? 6600 had 7.0, 6630 has 8.0 the top of the range phones are 9.0.

9 months old now,the dust behind the screen is bugging me.the screen went white for the first time this week,i hope that doesn't keeps up!
overall its been an ok fone,its a great size and light.to all those ppl complaining bout battery life,it took 3 months for mine to behave properly(i mean hold a decent amount of charge)

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I've had 4 handsets in 6 months and have now given up with them and changed to a different phone. Problems include:- poor battery, screen keeps going white and locking and phones reject sim cards which work fine in other phones, phone loses MP3 downloads and resets the alarm tone back to its default! I loved the style of this phone which is y I stuck with it for so long but I really have come to the end of my tether with them. Total rubbish!

i have the pink one, it's the best..but the worst thing about it, is that it doesn't have a card slot..and only one camera..but generally it's BEAUTIFUL....

I boughy the phone 2 months ago and it really disappointed me. It's display is not as good as it should be... I am now converting back to samsung... Cox it is the best...............

Luv my 6111, had it for 10mths now. No problems! If u do, check if yours is the original or otherwise. Charging problem? I reckon it's the charger that's faulty! Get a new charger from a reliable shop/agent. Only complaint is not enough memory space :-)

Phone was fine for the first 6 months. I have had this phone repaired twice as it kept turning off and the screen kept going white. Couldn't receive messages for 3 days. Got it replaced and the new replacement was even worse, couldn't answer any phone calls, screen kept going white phone turning on and off at its own will.

had my fone for about 6 months...cute little black thing. NO PROBLEMS can u believe it? and i have dropped it about 5 times on hard surfaces!!

I don't know where you guys bought your broken phones, mine (white model) works perfectly, I love it more each day, never had any problem, and the battery lasts for 6 days... So some Nokia 6111 DO work !!!! Cute, bright, colorful, nice wallpapers. With so few woman-friendly phones on the market, this phone is refreshing.

hab dis fone fo 7 month now... its gettin annoyin tho. ebritym im on z fone or tryna msg sum1, z screen goes blank & it automatically restart... sumtymes i don get ma m8s msgs till z nxt dae. z battery sux!!!

wud recommend ebri1 not to buy it!!! regret it heaps!!!

Have had this phone one day, and now it says sim card rejected when i try and turn it on? anyone else had this problem or know how i can sort it out?

Nokia 6111 is a nice, cute but confused little phone. It feels wobbly in my hand and feels like it can break anytime. My real problem with it is the delay in receiving messages and sending my callers to voicemail even when it is still on. Switch it off and on again, and that's when you will receive all hanging messages. But you will never know someone had called because it will have gone to voicemail.

I just returned from the cellular phone shop with a brand new pink nokia 6111. i think it's really cool plus pretty good features. Usually i use my mobile for text and calls only so the extras on this like mp3 etc make the perfect phone for me. What i'm worried about is the sliding part and the problems mentioned by other entries regarding switching off suddenly and problems with keys. I hope they only got some fauly batch and that not aqll nokia 6111s are like they described it.

i bought this phone as a birthday present for my girlfriend. Its only a week old and she really likes it. This phone has a lot to offer eventhough it comeSin a tiny package. i GUESS it all depends on the performance hehehe!
