I am wanting to submit my website to search engines. How would I do this?
People have said that there is a search engine submitter on Cpanel, but I haven't found it yet. Also, people said META bots or something.. How do I do this?

I don't think META tags are that useful anymore, web search engines search the pages now anyway, because some people abused META tags.

Some META tags are useful for example the description is used by Google and Yahoo use the keyword tag, or they did i'm not too sure anymore.

Just use meta tags... works fine for me.

I have no idea, some META tags google just ignore. The best way too get indexed is too create a sitemap and submit it using google sitemaps. Originally Posted by Vixt

Ive always used Meta in the past and also those site submsision things and found them to work fine
