Pressured to Smoke.

Lately about five of my friends have started to smoke and they think it's the latest, most coolest thing and they've asked me several times to do it and pressuring me. I wish they'd stop and stop asking me to do cos I get scared when they're smoking around me because my clothes stink and my mum is getting suspicious and I know she wouldn't believe me if I said I didn't cos I smell terrible and I cough a lot. I want to stop going near them but we've been friends for such a long time!

Don't be such a *** and talk to your mates. You don't want to smoke? Don't, but don't blow your mates of because they're smoking. Trust me, if you smoked, the smell would be alot stronger.

If they ask you to smoke again, just tell them you don't want to because it's disgusting and if they say anything to you about it, just say 'No thanks, I'd rather not reek of cigarette's all my life.'

If and when they start smoking around you, just walk away from them.

Something like smoking isn't worth fallen out over, as at the end of the day you can't force anyone to do it, and likewise you cant force anyone to stop. You need to accept that's just something they chose to do, but you don't need to accept it around you.

Explain this to them your cool with them smoking, as long as they respect your wishes to keep it away from you. :]

just ask them politley if they can't smoke around you, or you could walk away when they are smoking.

It's not easy to talk to them, I've tried but they just laughed. I always say no but it's really hard.

That really would never of stopped me... I know what it's doing to me - personally i think it's worth it as smoking calms me down. And your gona die anyway...

cos they shudnt try 2 make u if u dont want to and they rnt that good friends if they rn't respecting your choice of not smoking and if u dont wanna stink of it just go away from them when they smoke ^^

Meh, most people go threw a phase when the smoke, its realy just becuse of weekness of charicter, i never have and never will, pretty much everyone i know has at one point though, personaly i think breathing in chalk is a cheeper way to get lung cancer "/
