Well I recieved a 14day free trial and I got on and made my character im one of the bear type things! Anyway.. I'm in the refuge and I have no idea what to do?

This is not true.

A priest is one of the easiest things to level, aslong as you spec shadow. Can always get into groups for instances, can solo mobs very very easily.

But if you're specced shadow, you will be of less use in instances if they have tanks and DPSers.
Holy/Disc are best for instances and raids.
I have a priest and I specced shadow, I got so bored with it.
I have a lock and it's so much more fun.

Up until 60, nobody cares if you are specced shadow when going to an instance, just aslong as you heal.

Of course at 60 it's a different matter, but up until 60 shadow is probably the best way to go.
