Boredom busters...

this is kindathe same as caroline's list, but i couldnt add to it
so im making my own

1. go to an adoption room dressed up as a tart and when sum1 asks 'will woo adwopt mwe?' reply, 'i eat kids like you for breakfast' this will scare the poor little floor mites, its great

2. go into a habbo wedding and say 'how could you.... i thought you loved me.... OK THEN, ITS OVER!!!!' this is also very fun

3. similar to 2. you see the usual noob couples. go up to one of them and say 'hands off my bf/gf you b****!!!!!!' this winds then up very nicely

4. go into a habbo hospital, and lie down on a bed. when asked what is wrong, reply 'i see dead people' now that is hilarious also, it works when you do it in a public rooms. noobs usually swear at you, thinking they are hard. then they get banned. hehe >;]]

5. purposely get into an argument with a noob freak, the ones dressed like chavs. again, they think they are hard, so swear at you. but be careful not to swear yourself again, very good. something i do regularly

6. randomly go around rooms asking noobs to marry you. they usually say yes, i find, if you are dresses as a tart. then randomly find an excuse to break up with them. aka 'im sorry, its not meant to be' ya no, the usual stuff.

7. classic boredom buster. get a group of mates, or just random noobs if you have no friends, and get harry out of his box. time consuming, entertaining, and lots of noobs think you are magic


thats all 4 now, but ill add when i get some more

8. go to a random games room and play the game, when you loose, scream scam scam scam, over and over again. untill you get kiked
then go back

9. hide and seek in hallway 1, start an argument with every noob that gets on your way. or get yourself followed.

10. on a clone account, block the lidos. its hilarious, but make sure u use a clone incase you get banned (which you probably will)

11. go to the popular modelling rooms dressed real ugly, and take a mate, then when you loose, protest, and say ur the hottest out of evry1. great fun

Okay, so I don't suppose this suggestion is too bad - but why on earth do you want to get them to swear? Sounds too much like baiting to me. *

Sounds like baiting to me - you would have to be careful that the Moderator doesn't see it that way. And if it is something you do regularly, you're giving a bad first impression and my opinion of you has just dropped a few notches. *

Casual roleplaying, not too much wrong with that. *

I fail to see why you would want to shout "scam, scam, scam" in a game that you lose in. (On a side note: I hate people who do this, but there we go...) Crying wolf ain't gonna get you anywhere, hun... False accusations are pretty darn annoying, IMO.

Starting an argument with people - why? You obviously have an "abstract" sense of humour, but who am I to complain? Arguments will likely escalate into a situation where either/both of the parties involved receive a ban. Too soap-opera/hormonal teenager for my liking. *

Disruption - 2 hour ban. Again, another of the "griefers" that I (as do many others) find annoying.

Not too much wrong with that one, I guess. Just don't start flooding/spamming/swearing/arguing, etc, or it won't be pretty. :rolleyes: (When careful, that last one can be quite fun.)

Now to explain the asterisks dotted in my replies. You might have spotted the pattern, but I have used an asterisk to highlight any option you have selected that uses the term "noob". Newbie I can handle when used to describe a newbie, to every extent of the word. "Noob", however, is derogatory, and is an insulting generalisation to many. Who/what would you class as a "noob"? If I was to read your post and nothing else, I would say quite comfortably that you are a "noob", based on some of the activities you have highlighted (such as lido blocking, and shouting "scam, scam" in a legitimate gaming room).

Newbie is legitimately used to describe new Habbos, noob is used with negative connotations. (However, if you read the Wikipedia article on the word "noob", you will get a lot of information in the background and origin of the word. If you meant the word in a non-derogatory manner, would you care to highlight in which context?) I (personally) have nothing against you using "noob" or "n00b" as a stereotype, but you indicated fine well the type of Habbos you were targeting, and it does read as a negative comment, and as if you are "above everyone else".

There is nothing wrong with "boredom" guides. There are a lot of them, and some of them can be quite fun. However, when one of these guides borders on the edge of insulting people, annoying people, and being no less than idiotic - it's not a very valuable guide. Your post encourages, no - tells people to break the Habbo Way. May I ask why? Okay, you get your kicks, but what about the rest of us? By all means write a boredom guide, but one that complies with the forum rules, and the Habbo Way.

There is one thing you have to learn in life - seeking enjoyment in the annoyance of others will gain you many enemies, very quickly.

Can't you try something a bit more fun, without winding other people up? Why not host a game yourself? Why not just "hang out" with your Habbo mates, or something? There are many other boredom guides on this forum - check them out.
