Right, doing my coursework about Osmosis at the moment and im stuck on the analysis/evaluation part. The teacher wants us to use words like plasmolysed and plasmolysis and I have no idea what they mean? Anyone know?

Well, Technically you don't need to use random words like that if you explain it clearly enough x] Erm... 1sec ill go find you some meanings.

Plasmolysis is the shrinking of the cytoplasm of a plant cell in response to diffusion of water out of the cell and into a high salt concentration solution

So when it diffuses the water/sugar or w/e the cytoplasm in the cells shrink?

erg... How random. I did this many years ago x] can't rember what it is anymore.
