Not really.

To basic.

Try adding text (www.lipsum.com) : blank boxes give a negative effect.
Try adding more boxes.
Dont use to much 'Bevel & Emboss'
Make a nice logo to fit with the banner text.
Dont use to much blending options on ur pictures.
