Thumbs down My Chemical Romance - the next big cult?

I love mcr and i love there new album so i'm not slagging them

But does anyone else get the feeling that there gonna be the next big thing and then wear out like greenday (also a great band). I have been a fan from tcfsr
and their music has cetainly changed from the last album, i kinda think they are trying to be the next greenday. magazines have been saying it and i always just denied that they would turn all pop and people would think there 'emo' and 'cool' just coz they listen to them but it only hit when they were shown on bbc saturday morning television.

I also know alot of posers who have now gone out to buy chucks and band t-shirts and hoodies coz they love mcr now ''/

also frank iero is the hottest thing since ummm.. yeah just since.

First of all it is Green Day with a bloody space, so much for you being a fan of them "/

Second of all we know it's bound to happen but have you seen the amount of MCR threads? It's insane. So in answer to your question yes they will be the next big 'cult' with little 'emos' mainly around 12-14.
    yes blud

Yes, they're an annoying fad. They're like Pokémon cards, but with more eyeliner.

I totally agree with you. Ive liked them since their first album but now if you wear a Mcr hoody down the street you get people staring at you thinking your a big wannabe emo. I think Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge was their best album and The Black Parade is being majorly over played. But maybe thats just me =]
