SKill Cape Outrage

I was off to the Chaos Altar to bury some bones because I was bored and wanted 52 prayer. I took my skillcape and hood with me, and was followed by a level 82, who DDS specced me inside the temple and said 'sorry'. I didn't care, I knew it would probably happen, and soon I would die of poison, so I continued burying my bones. I picked up another few rounds of bones, buried them, then picked up another 4 bones, and killed me saying 'this is for your own good, sorry'. So I appear with Falador with my Skill Cape and.... 2 bones? I ran back to the altar, but my hood was gone. So I went back to the Master Chef, he said nothing about hood replacements, so if I want another hood, I'll have to buy another cape.

Surely the hood should have some value....

The man had guts, you should of brang a dds too. Usually when I see a person with a skill cape, I wouldn't attack them.

Well the hood didn't provide defence bonuses so not that bad, it just fitted in with my outfit.

You should at least be able to get another one for free if you loose something and you have already made the 'down payment".
Well I guess you might get one if you ever get another 99 skill and they get trimmed...

Is it possible to still do the emote without it?
It better be or that's very irritating.

All skill capes should be retained after you die or easily re-gettable from the master of the skill.
