Games Postponed.

A lot of games are postponed today, well i only know of one but what the hell....

Match referee Mr Taylor called off Saturday's match between Northampton Town and Leyton Orient because of a waterlogged pitch.
Heavy overnight rain had left standing water in many areas of the pitch, and the drainage system full to capacity.
The club made contact with Leyton Orient and discovered that the team and supporters coaches were due to leave at 1130am. The match referee was contacted and asked to arrive eariler than normal, and he agreed to make an 1115am inspection.
He discovered that the surface was flooded and unfit for play and so called the game off.
The weather forecast provided to the club from the Met Office indicated heavy rain/showers to last until mid-afternoon, by which time the already flooded service would have been even worse.
No new date for the game has yet been arranged.

we had a Tropical storm warning for the East of England (places like Peterborough, Ipswich, Norwich , Colchester) places like that and it looks like we did have 1


under pitch heating always comes in handy though thats how our home game against Torquay was still on
