~Suggestion~ IRC Network

Like a IRC network which holds loads of channels so the visitors can make their own channels chat to each other etc and also not spam the forums because they'd have their own channel to spam in ^^

I agree with this idea. It would save PMing someone, then waiting for hours for them to reply.

Also would save alot of space etc on forum since if you needed something like pointless you can say on IRC ^^

Humm, IRC would be interesting? but would anyone actualy use it really? Habbox has attempted chatrooms in the past which have remained empty, i get the feeling the same would happen to any IRC networks that would be set up "/
The closest successful thing was back when habbox used to have the shoutbox at the top, which worked pretty successfuly as a chatroom, it was eventaly removed though since habbox didnt have staff skilled enough it seems to rework the mod when the vb software got updates hence meaning it lead to a number of errors and bugs in the forum.

IRC server wouldnt Effect the vBulletin though. So wouldnt cause any errors with forum. Also on a Runescape related IRC server theres about 15 people who regularly use Habbox chat on their.. and thats only the runescape related people? So i'd think it'd work, just would take time..

And i know about how to set it up..

I'd Recommend UnrealIRCd and Anope Services.

Imho i'd think it would be successfull.

i like idear BUT some web hosts dont allow SHELL, and IRC needs shell! there is a MOD on Vbulletin.org some were that has chatroom and like its got a bot x]
