quest help - the lost city

i can do the parts upto where i get attacked by the tree spirit

it completely mauled me, luckily i managed to teleport out before i got killed.

any tips on how to kill it, and ideas on what stats i need to be able to kill it would be great

my current stats are:

36 attack
35 strength
36 def
31 range
37 mage
30 prayer
40 hit points

combat lvl - 46

When you're next in the place where the tree is you should notice some fungi around the edge of the room, hide behind that attack it from there.

Sorry I can't remember it in great detail as I did this quest many moons ago

Use fire bolt and stand behind the fungus..
you dont even need a food

I don't think you can range it.

You can make ranging stuff while your there if you wanna range.

yea, you could bring materials to make a bow and arrow. I did maging when I was there, theres two spots you can hide from I think. (Fungi places) Remember to cut tons and tons of branches. More dramen staffs, the better. Dont have to go back again when u lose one.

you can range it, i tried last time i attempted the quest. you can take the materials needed to make weapons/armour but not take any armour onto the island
